We have been established since 2001 and we produce unique educational software enabling teachers to assemble national curriculum topics into interesting and meaningful lessons, tailoring material to suit the individual learning styles and capabilities of individual pupils.
The software is designed by teachers, for teachers and requires minimal IT expertise.
TriEs focuses on subject areas in which school requirements are high and generally poorly addressed in the current marketplace.
The software can also be easily altered for the overseas market and crucially can be altered for parents and children for the direct market.
The company’s initial principal priorities are:
to produce high quality interactive multimedia material for use by pupils and students to learn
to enhance the ability of teachers using the products to teach the subjects involved
to concentrate particularly on those subjects where there are identified and well documented problems in the industry e.g. Science, Numeracy and Literacy
All of the company’s products are developed in partnership with practising teachers who have specific expertise in each of the subject areas.
The Uniqueness of TriEs Products
The following points make TriEs products unique and stand out amongst its more established competitors:
all scripts are written by practising UK teachers who are experts in their subject areas thus making the final products pedagogically sound
each unit is in the form of a lesson, running for approximately 35 minutes (one school lesson time) unlike the short scenario-based material offered by most of the competitors
the lessons are highly interactive so that pupils find the learning experience interesting and engaging
each lesson is divided into 5 stand-alone sections thus making it ideal for teachers to use as a whole-class teaching aid using an Interactive Whiteboard
each lesson offers related projects which can be of enormous help for busy teachers
pupils can also work through the lessons either on their own or in small groups if either they have missed the subject being taught or are ahead of the rest of the class - no special training is required apart from knowing how to click a mouse
there are formative assessment questions interspersed throughout the lesson
the computer-marked questions at the end help identify the strengths and weaknesses of each pupil in the particular subject
